The first photobook by the late Koji Taki. It contains 124 photographs of 17 private residences taken between 1968 and 1979. The photographs were copied from films and prints entrusted to Taki by the architects who designed the buildings. The photographs are arranged in order of completion year, and in addition to basic information about the architecture, the book includes drawings by the book's designer, Wakuto Takamuro, plotting Taki's shooting locations. Also included are "Words About Houses," one of 19 essays Taki contributed to Kishin Shinoyama's photobook "House Meaning of the House," and a newly written essay by cultural anthropologist Ryuta Imafuku, "Houses Vanish Deep into the Sea: Koji Taki's 'Anti-Architectural Photography'." Edited by Tamami Iinuma.

303 x 207mm, 256 pages, dual-tone (black + silver), spine-open codex binding, 2020.
